Animal Crossing New Horizons: Summer fun with the latest update!
Animal Crossing New Horizons comes with a new update full of summer fun! After the sharks and wedding month of June, we can now dive into our own island paradise! No Animal Crossing New Horizons yet?

Animal Crossing New Horizons
In March, Nintendo Switch came out with a new game, Animal crossing New Horizons. In this game, you have your own island, where you can enjoy a carefree life full of creativity and complete freedom to go wherever you want. You can collect all kinds of resources with which you can craft the most beautiful items, such as furniture and tools.
You can build the home of your dreams and enjoy island life! Alone but also with friends.
Slightly addicted to this game
The Nintendo Switch, once came into the house for the boys, but I too am increasingly playing games on it. For example, recently we have 51 Worldwide Games, but I also play Dr. Kawashima’s Brain training regularly. But the most I play Animal crossing New Horizons.
This game was released at just the right time. It was March and we had just been home for a week together. With this game each time we were able to escape from the anxious and uncertain reality we were living in at the time.
But even now I find it an incredibly enjoyable recreation to be involved with.
New updates every time for more fun
Together with my sons, I have an island and here we live with other residents. You build the island completely to your liking. You catch some fish and insects, sell and buy and make your island look more and more beautiful. The updates are great fun every time.
In June it was shark and wedding season and and now they are coming out with a new update full of summer fun!
New items and familiar characters await you in the coastal areas
This new update gives summer fun: Players can dive into their own island paradise starting July 3. There is, in fact, a series of free updates ready to go to Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch. These updates get you new features, including the ability to swim and dive for deep-sea creatures, new faces and a bunch of new items like mermaid furniture.
These free updates are among a series of new experiences coming to your island life over the summer and beyond.
Summer fun: what updates can we expect
The new update will add the following features and characters to the game:
- Swimming and diving – Bring a scuba suit and dive into the water to explore the marine life around your island, because you can swim and dive this summer in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. When players swim around in the ocean blue waters on the shore, they can also dive to discover all sorts of deep-sea creatures. It’s definitely worth looking for some new beauties to donate to the museum and hear fun new facts from Blathers.
- Pascal brings new plans – While swimming, players may encounter a new character! The friendly Pascal seems to love mantle shells. When players find one while diving, Pascal asks if he can keep it. As a token of appreciation, he gives DIY plans that can be used to make mermaid-style items.
- Gulliver – After players download the free update, a familiar washes up … with a slightly different, pirate-like outfit. If you give him a hand, he will send you a special reward as a token of thanks.
There will be another update in August
Another summer update is scheduled for early August.
