Which outdoor workouts are best?

What could be better than doing your workout outside? Instead of sweating in a hot gym, seek out nature or explore your town or city while doing some fitness workouts. Sunshine or a nice fresh breeze.

Find out which sports are great for doing outdoors.

What can you do about workouts

It doesn’t have to cost much, not in time and not in stuff, outside sports. But what can you do?

Almost nothing needed for a run

The number one workout you can do outside is running. All you have to do is put on your running shoes for ladies. And a nice outfit of course.

Sport leggings, a T-shirt and a good sports bra are sufficient. That’s why running is so popular. You don’t need much and you can do it at any time of the day.

Are you a real morning runner who wakes up from a jog?? Or would you rather go for a run around sunset so you can sleep well afterwards?

Walking: low-intensity workout

Did you know that walking is a great workout? Just make sure you walk briskly, because that’s best for your fitness and burning calories. Well, that sounds good.

The risk of injuries is very small. Walking, for example, is much less demanding on your muscles and joints than running. Besides, really anyone can walk.

Whether you are 10 or 80 years old. Build it up at your own pace and before you know it you’ll be walking for miles without getting tired. Very important: good walking shoes for ladies.

Those prevent sore feet!

Take a refreshing dip

Another workout you can do outdoors. Then, of course, there must be an outdoor pool or swimming water nearby. With swimming you use a lot of muscles and you can determine the pace yourself.

Because of the resistance of the water your movements are slower and it is almost impossible to get injured while swimming. Do you challenge yourself to constantly break your own records or do you just like to swim laps at leisure??

Hop on your racing bike

With the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin, cycling is great in the summer. You get plenty of fresh air and get to know your surroundings even better. Enjoy cycling through the surrounding villages or through the woods.

It’s all possible when you take a day for a bike ride. You’ll get fitter in no time from this activity. And that’s just great.

A good condition is always nice.

Just being busy is good

I used to be very sporty, ran and did a lot of boot camp. Due to chronic knee problems I am no longer allowed to do this but now get my satisfaction from walking. Every day my husband and I go for a run, and while they are not big workouts, they do help keep us in shape.
