Since I had the pleasure of receiving the 9000 Cordless Waving Wand myself, I will describe it in more detail below and of course give my experience about using it;

My experience with the 9000 Cordless Waving Wand

In early September I attended the VIP Night Launch of the BaByliss 9000 Cordless Collection. Here I got to see the collection, as well as styling my hair beautifully with the 9000 Cordless Waving Wand. I deliberately chose this cordless curling tong because I have a very small amount of curl myself and like to make more of it every now and then.

Now I am not an experienced blow dryer or curling iron user, but the 9000 Cordless Waving Wand has changed all that. I have yet to manage to style my hair the way the make-up artist did at the VIP Night, but after using it several times, I find that I can get the hang of it.

It starts with the packaging

The packaging of the BaByliss 9000 Cordless Collection is beautiful. The box alone exudes something beautiful and magical. The curling iron is light and sleek in design. Before using the 9000 Cordless Waving Wand for the first time, it needs to be charged for three hours.

The color near the on and off button indicates how much the curling iron is charged. After charging you can use the curling iron for 40 minutes. The box also includes a storage pouch, heat-resistant mat, heat-resistant glove and a multi-voltage charger for worldwide use.

The design of the 9000 Cordless Waving Wand

The design of this curling iron is beautiful, nice and sleek. The charger clips onto the pliers with a magnet, which really gives that luxurious look. Turn on the 9000 Cordless Waving Wand, you’ll see it light up green and hear a sound.

Select the temperature by pressing the button and wait a few seconds for it to warm up (the white light will stop flashing). Grab a strand of hair (not too thick), twist it around the curling iron and let it sit for 5-7 seconds, then take the strand off the curling iron and try to keep it in shape as much as possible, then hold it in place for a very short time. Then you let go of the strand and continue with the next strand. Shake out your hair loosely afterwards and spray a little hairspray in it if necessary.

With the 9000 Cordless Waving Wand I get a nice swirl in my hair, it also makes my hair much fuller.

So easy to use

The 9000 Cordless Waving Wand is incredibly easy to use and that’s me saying that normally I only wash my hair with a shampoo bar and very sporadically a hair mask. Because the curling iron is cordless, you can also easily make waves in the back of the hair. I am very satisfied and also notice how much I like to give my hair just a little extra’s.
